Permeability Evolution of an Intact Marble Core during Shearing under High Fluid Pressure

چکیده
The progressive shear failure of a rock mass under hydromechanical coupling is key aspect the long-term stability deeply buried, high fluid pressure diversion tunnels. In this study, we use experimental and numerical analysis to quantify permeability variations that occur in an intact marble sample as it evolves from slip different confining pressures pressures. results reveal at low effective normal stress, fracture positively correlated with displacement. lower higher stress exhibits episodic change increasing After establishing model based on point cloud data generated by three-dimensional (3D) laser scanning surfaces, found there are some contact areas block percolation channels conditions.
